LOCATION: Franciacorta zone in the northern region of Lombardy
EYE: Intense pink (varies slightly according to the vintage, due to the different ripeness levels of Pinot Nero).
NOSE: Elegant notes of white peach and rose melded with subtle nuances of yeast and crusty bread. Heady, warm quality from the brief maceration of Pinot Nero on the skins
TASTE: Refined and elegant, exhibiting exceptional acidity and body. Acidity is well-balanced by the medium dosage.
MATURING: Assemblage of the cuvée in the spring following harvest. with the contribution of 5% of reserve wine reserve consisting of the previous year cuvée aged in stainless steel tank for one year. Second fermentation in the bottles and maturation sur lie for a minimum of 24 months followed by an additional 2 months after disgorgement.

Beginning with the person credited with bottling the first Franciacorta in 1961, Berlucchi is a renowned winery located in the Franciacorta region of northern Italy, celebrated for its exceptional sparkling wines.
